From there it was Heavy Metal all the way as I discovered the bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Metal Church, Helloween etc... I guess one could say I 'grew up'....and it was great! The guitars of Metal resonated to the very depths of my soul, struck a myriad of notes there and have ever since sustained them with an intensity like no other.
The first vinyl LP’s I bought with my own money were Nuclear Assault’s Game Over and The Plague. I enjoy the creative expression of writing…leading up to that, the best part about it is being in the midst of the action, getting great shots and doing my best to capture the essence of the whole vibe of a live event. I am very passionate and equally excited about my role at VOICEOFROCK as a field reporter and interviewer. It is very exciting to get out there & meet with the masters of Metal...the real thing - it just kinda makes everything complete.
