Malcolm Burger is a born and bred Capetonian and music fanatic. He is an avid follower and supporter of many different types and genres of music, but the underground is where his heart is. The long list of music related activities he has been involved in for the last 15 years include: specialist cd retail, DJ, co-owning an alternative club and live music venue, and member of such bands as Grämlich, Terminatryx and Revellus.....

He currently manages the South African branch of Peermusic, the biggest independent music publishing company in the world, gives annual publishing seminars as part of “Band Academy” for Paul Bothner and is the sole organiser of 2 animal welfare benefit shows every year, “Lovecats” and “Metal-4-Mutts”.

On top of all that he also finds time to write and record for his 2 bands, SubVerS and Ashes At My Grave, for whom he is the lead guitarist.

Reviewing comes naturally to Malcolm, as he has an opinion on everything musical and is not afraid to speak his mind.
