VOICE OF ROCK is proud to announce that we will be bringing you exclusive coverage from this year’s HELLFEST in France, including photos, reviews and interviews….

OZZY OSBOURNE, ROB ZOMBIE, JUDAS PRIEST, SCOPRIONS, DISTUBRED, MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES are among the confirmed bands for this year's edition of HELLFEST, set to take place June 17-19, 2011 in Clisson, France.

With a record of 72,000 people attending the festival in 2010, Hellfest has multiplied it's turn-out by 4 in the last 5 years. The originality of the festival's artistic project has allowed it to reach an international recognition. Born through the passion of its young founders, it's by maintaining its distinctiveness and independence that Hellfest has become the finest French event dedicated to extreme musics.

Iggy and The Stooges is probably the biggest surprise of this final line-up, but nobody can question their presence and the impact that the group had in the rise of punk rock, as well as their influence on glam and hard rock. Iggy certainly hasn't lost the ability to set the stage on fire and we are sure he'll prove it to you at Hellfest 2011.
 
As for Rob Zombie, he hasn't set foot in France since White Zombie split up at the end the 90's! And so, after a long-awaited come back, it's in Clisson that you'll get a chance to see him. The atmosphere will be as electric as his show, filled with special effects which will plunge you into his gruesome and sexy universe just like his horror movies.Probably one of the most awaited concerts at Hellfest 2011.

HELLFEST 2011 CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION:

Campsite is free and right next to the festival! The campsite doors open Thursday 16 June at 2pm upon presentation of your ticket. You will then be given your bracelet for the festival so all you'll have to do is set up your tent! This campsite is only for those holding a 1 or 3 day pass. When you arrive volunteers will give you a "camping bag" with goodies but its main use is as a bin bag and you'll also be given a token for every bin bag handed in. We rely on you to keep the site clean. A toilet block will also be available.

For those who do not wish to camp, contact the tourist office via their website (www.valleedeclisson.fr) or by telephone (+ 33 240 540 295). Numerous gites, bed and breakfast, holiday village and campsites are available and all within 20kms of the festival!
