VOICE OF ROCK reporter Dylan had the opportunity to meet with yet another 2 amazing artists at Hellfest in France when he interviewed lead guitarist Gus G. and vocalist Apollo of Greek power metallers FIREWIND while the fact that Gus is currently also the guitarist for OZZY OSBOURNE made it so much more interesting. 

Firewind is a Greek power metal band. Formed in 1998, the group is currently signed to Century Media Records and was originally a small project created by guitarist, Gus G. to showcase his demo project, Nocturnal Symphony in 1998.

Three years later Firewind became a full band when they recorded their debut album, Between Heaven And Hell. To date, the band has released six studio albums and has been met with international success.

  

Gus G. is considered by many as a modern guitar hero of our time. He currently plays with his band Firewind and Ozzy Osbourne. He has also played in the bands Mystic Prophecy, Nightrage, Arch Enemy and Dream Evil.

Apollo Papathanasio is a Swedish heavy metal vocalist of Greek descent. While currently the vocalist for Firewind, Spiritual Beggars and Evil Masquerade, he has also sung for the bands Meduza, Gardenian, and Richard Andersson's projects Majestic and Time Requiem.
