This year's edition of the BANG YOUR HEAD!!! fest, set to take place at July 16 and 17 at the Messegelände Balingen, Germany, marks the 15th anniversary of this popular music event. 28 bands - more than ever befroe - will hit the stage and be joined by thousands of Rock and Metal fans from around the world.
On this special occasion, many popular acts of the last years have been invited to Balingen once more - among them legends and visitors' faves like QUEENSRYCHE, TWISTED SISTER, HAMMERFALL, DORO, reformed Suisse veterans KROKUS in their original band line up, SAVATAGE-mastermind Jon Oliva with his band JON OLIVA'S PAIN, NEVERMORE and many more. Joining them are handpicked acts like the Eastern legend LOUDNESS, Prog Meal pioneers FATES WARNING, US cult act SAVAGE GRACE, uprising newcomers like SABATON and THE NEW BLACK and promising "greenhorns" like ENFORCER, BULLET and TOXIN, who all will play up at Balingen for the very first time.
Some more bands are still to be cornfirmed. This year, an overall of 28 bands will be put on the bill, as - for the first time in the event's history - a second stage will be put up located at the event hall set up on the festival site two years ago. In the evening hours of each festival day, three bands will offer some musical contrast there...
